The Mortgage Curve is designed for private, self-directed mortgage research. This policy explains what happens when you use the site and its calculators.
Calculator inputs
Mortgage calculations are performed in your browser. The calculator does not require an account, and the core calculation inputs are not submitted to The Mortgage Curve for storage or review as part of producing a result.
When you use a share link, the scenario values may be included in the URL so the recipient can recreate the same calculation. Treat a shared URL as potentially sensitive and do not share it publicly if it contains financial information you want to keep private.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic, page visits, and how people use the calculators. Analytics may process information such as your approximate location, device and browser details, referring page, pages visited, and interaction timing. Analytics is configured separately from the calculator’s financial calculations and does not need your mortgage numbers to measure page usage.
Google may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics. Google’s handling of that information is governed by its own policies. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and use available Google privacy controls.
Cookies and local storage
The site may use cookies or browser storage supplied by analytics or required for normal website behavior. Calculator scenarios may also be represented in the page URL. The site does not intentionally store your mortgage scenario in a server-side user account.
Third-party links and services
Pages may link to lenders, government agencies, financial institutions, or other external websites. Opening those links takes you to a third party with its own privacy practices. The Mortgage Curve does not control or take responsibility for the data practices of those websites.
Data retention and security
Because the core calculations run locally, The Mortgage Curve does not maintain a server-side history of the mortgage scenarios you calculate. Technical logs, hosting records, or analytics records may be retained by the service providers that operate the site according to their policies and applicable requirements.
Use care with shared information
Do not enter account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other credentials into the calculators. Do not share a scenario URL if it contains financial values you consider confidential.

This policy may be updated when the site’s analytics, hosting, or calculator features change. The version published on this page is the current version.
